his hand crafted custom landing net has a 13 x 10 inch hoop with an 11.5 inch handle. The hoop is maple with an ascent strip of walnut. The handle is highly figured birds-eye maple. I look for maple boards with shading that would compliment an inlay. I draw the trout on the handle to optimize the position and size, then hand inlay the brass and details. The marking on the the trout are a walnut inlays.
The landing net is finished with 6-8 layers of epoxy. Available with a slightly larger hoop to fit a ghost style net bag. My nets are all signed and numbered. All nets have a custom shop made brass eye for attaching the net to your vest or belt.
